Home Sweet Home

Hey remember awhile back when I was on the news because Wood Green, my beloved neighborhood, had been the site of a rash of stabbings? If we had thought of it at the time, we perhaps could have consoled ourselves by saying, "Well, at least there's no Al-Qaeda poison factory in our village!"

This small consolation has, alas, been taken from us.

Apparently, neighbors are shocked.

Sigh.

By the way, kids, note that that Scotsman article refers to "ethically diverse" Wood Green. Like, its residents range from, um, normal people to, uh, cop-killing terrorists. That is quite a range of ethics, I suppose.

I too noticed the "ethically" typo. At least I hope it was a typo. Also, when I read, “So many people move into this area all the time and there have been a lot of changes, mostly for the worse,” I couldn't help but think of you.
